New York Water Damage Help is an independent consumer guide and inquiry service. It is not a water-damage contractor, plumber, mold professional, insurer, emergency service, dispatch service, or service provider.
What the site provides
The site offers general safety, documentation, and decision information for New York-area water incidents, together with links to public and official resources. It also accepts a short request that this site stores for manual review. It does not inspect a property, diagnose damage, write a work scope, make an insurance decision, provide an estimate, schedule work, or guarantee an outcome.
How requests and calls are handled
Calls and form requests are how we connect you with independent restoration companies. We do not perform extraction, drying, or reconstruction ourselves. The restoration company that receives your request controls scheduling, pricing, and the work.
Call recording
Calls to this site’s tracking number are routed through CallRail and recorded. A recorded notice plays before each call is forwarded. If you do not want to take part in a recorded call, end the call and use the request form. The number is not an emergency line.
Choosing an independent business
Before authorizing work, verify the business’s identity, service area, availability, qualifications that apply to the proposed work, insurance, written scope, price, exclusions, and contract terms. The guide’s general questions do not verify or endorse any particular business.
Safety and professional decisions
Leave an unsafe area and use 911 or the appropriate utility or public-safety channel for an immediate hazard. The guide is not emergency, legal, medical, engineering, mold-assessment, insurance, or other professional advice. Conditions at a property can differ from the examples on these pages.
Official and external links
External links are provided to help you reach source material. A link does not imply that the destination operates, endorses, sponsors, or has a commercial relationship with this site. Confirm current instructions on the destination because phone numbers, rules, conditions, and web pages can change.
Accuracy and changes
This site may correct or update the guide as source material or the pages change. The presence of a page does not promise that every detail is complete, current, or suitable for a particular incident. Check the dated source notes and the linked official material before relying on time-sensitive information.
